✅ House Rules for Garbage Disposal

  • ✔ Always separate garbage correctly — incorrect disposal can result in the garbage not being collected
  • ✔ Place garbage at the designated collection point before 8:00 AM on collection day
  • ✔ Do NOT put out garbage the night before — morning only
  • ✔ Rinse food containers before recycling — dirty items go in burnable
  • ✔ Do NOT leave garbage in the hallway, entrance, or common areas of the house
  • ✔ If you miss collection day, keep the garbage in your room until the next collection

📱 Useful App: Gomisuke (Garbage Assistant)

  • Gomisuke (ゴミすけ) is a free Japanese app that tells you exactly what type of garbage to put out on any given day, based on your address
  • Available on iOS App Store and Google Play Store — search "ゴミすけ" or "Gomisuke"
  • Set your address to the Nana House or Sengawa House location to get push notification reminders the night before each collection day
